I'm currently doing my last public relations push for the Pallomancy Class (Pendulum Divination) that I'm teaching this coming Tuesday night. Meanwhile, my old computer contracted some horrible Trojan virus and I don't remember willingly downloading anything -- (loud tiger grrrrrr as I must now reload every program, etc., onto my new computer).

WHAT I FEEL THANKFUL FOR: My son Gregory just gave me a brand new computer. He also spent all day long trying to rescue files off my old hard-drive -- as technologically advanced as my gorgeous son truly is, this Trojan virus keeps changing its name and refuses to give us access to anything. I've put so much money into that old computer (increased the RAM just last month and had other extensive work done to save it from the land-fill). At the same time, I realize my old friend was truly was past its prime.

Here's my ad for the Pendulum Class:

"You do not need to bring a pendulum, as we'll be making them in class." Minds me of a modification I'd like to make to the Pet Policy at Hogwarts; "Students may bring a pet each, at individual discretion, as there'll be sufficient working animals to make up any shortfall." (What kind of wizard couldn't speak Cat?)
I'd best note this dream down, somewhere, as I don't dream often enough to maintain my own blog. I dream, but rarely to be remembered, and this seems to be a suggestion of Lakshmi's.
I'd found a job, in a shop, where I was diligently eager to do what I was told, but others had wandered off, and I was left wondering what to do. When the boss got back, he chewed me out, for not putting my hands to some kind of work, such as folding the laundry, or refilling the paperclips. Lakshmi is a prosperity goddess, who's said not to favor anyone whose bedroom looks like mine. I've the power of the Holy Grail, waiting for someone to ask, but what kind of teacher would I be, if I heed not my own students?
Meanwhile, our cat is sick, either acutely or terminally, and worrying a fellow who could use Touch Assist himself; should I get out the instructions, and practice on the cat? Almost, but Something, maybe I should clean up some old shoes, while doing my laundry... at least, I now know where to send them.

RE: "What kind of wizard couldn't speak Cat?" Ron Weasley, that's who. {He brought Scabbers, the rat (aka "meal for a cat!") to the school of wizardry.

Perhaps if you place straw inside your shoes and place them outside . . . a unicorn will stop by and leave you a blessing in return for the meal.

Loaded a rather stiff cat into the car, for the evening. Off to the crematorium in the morrow. Death Sucks, but the alternatives are pretty awful in their own rights. This cat had been a concubine, probably when I was living in Egypt, so friends come and go, kind of like Breathing, when you've got to exhale, even though you're drowning.
So, this evening, I'm working on a ritual for the healling of Death and Birth Community, that should be good for Brotherhoods and Children. Reading Montessori minded me, that an early school is like a fractal orphanage, since the child isn't bereft of parents all the time, but if we focus on Attendants and Absents, alternated, we can likely remembrance the Dead, as perfectly ordinary Absents.

Sun,

You know how much I can't stand change. I will consider blogging here. I can easily see why you like it.

I'm headed for Manhattan to ring in the New Year. It is so lovely now.

We had 77 degree weather on Sunday and enjoyed every second of it on the beach.

Thank you again for your friendship. Looks like you are headed down new paths all the time. Wonderful.

Bobby
