I cannot believe how many people keep trying to get psychic feedback for FREE. It’s like folks assume people who are paranormally gifted don’t NEED money to pay the rent!
For some reason, that song, “King of the Road” keeps playing over and over in my head. That song is where a transient individual pays for his room by pushing the broom for 3 hours in a day. The lyrics go something like this: “No phone, no food, no pets, aint got no cigarettes . . . . I smoke old stogeys I have found, short but not to big around, I’m a man of means by no means: King of the Road.”
GETTING BACK TO ASKING SOMEONE TO WORK FOR FREEPeople who ask for free services do not VALUE the service they receive and they further dishonor the experts by expecting them to live on ZERO income. Kasamba is a BUSINESS (where many psychics try to eek out enough money to feed the wild birds that visit their back yards).
THE PUBLIC BOARD, ON KASAMBA, IS WHERE THIS ABUSE OF NOT WANTING TO PAY FOR SERVICES IS MOST EVIDENT: At Kasamba, when a customer posts a question on the public boards they get feedback from all of the different psychics who are standing around e-waiting (the goal is for each psychic to call out to such clients and tell them how they will go about answering their questions.
While I’ve gotten a handful of legitimate clients that way – it’s involved many hours of working hard without any good results (I keep trying though, seriously, I’m addicted to this work!)
When I respond to the public boards, I like to ask clients to refer to Kasamba’s star rating system which is available as proof of expertise on each of the psychic profile pages {so the client can feel like the professional they choose is ‘legitimate.’ They may also read comments left there by other customers and the psychic expert on Kasamba has no way to control the information that gets posted about him/her. So a really bad comment can be left – and if the customer was drunk when s/he wrote such statements you can be sure the feedback reads in a very entertaining manner).
Lately I’ve been giving people (who post on the public boards) enough information to let them know I was legitimately “reading them” but not enough feedback to really answer their question – because, after all, I want them to PAY me.
For example, a girl (let’s say her name is “Isabelle) posts a question on the public board asking whether or not she should stay with her boyfriend of 2 years. SHE wants to get married while her boyfriend Paul has been resistant to that type of a commitment.
I respond to Isabelle’s post and explain that I know how anxious she is feeling and how much she wants to have some clarity on this topic. It’s very difficult to be at a place of indecision. I admit that I can see Isabelle, metaphysically, and she has blond hair and blue eyes. “Hire me and I will tell you the forecast for your relationship.”
It turns out that Isabelle does have blond hair and blue eyes but does she hire me? NO! She writes back asking: “So, tell me, should we stay together? Give me a hint!”
I write back: “I would love to share the details, hire me and I will provide the kind of answers that resonate with you on a cellular level as TRUTH. Please refer to my profile and read feedback from my other customers, so you know how satisfied they have all been.”
What does Isabelle do? She REMOVES her question/hires NOBODY.
This scenario plays out AGAIN and again and AGAIN . . . and that’s how I have been spending my days (waiting for March first when the store "All Things Good" opens and then I can do in person readings once more).
HERE’S A TIP ON HOW YOU CAN IMPROVE YOUR PSYCHIC SKILLSWhile I was typing this blog entry, my cellular phone rang. I got up to go fetch it and tried to figure out WHO was calling (before I checked the caller I.D.). YOU should try doing this . . . you might be amazed at how ACCURATE you are about “knowing.”
What I do is “check in” with my feelings and ask: “Who do I FEEL is calling me?”
My husband and I have both been practicing this for a while. So I asked him: “Who do you think is calling? I’m 100% certain it’s one of my three kids. I think it’s Joanna.” {Let's back up a minute, in addition to my children, I have two step-sons, a daughter-in-law and a son-in-law/not to mention six siblings, four in-law siblings, living parents . . . it could be ANY of a number of people who would be calling.}
Doug “checks-in” to see how he is feeling (I still have not found my ringing cell phone yet). He says: “It IS Joanna.”
I get to my phone – IT’S JOANNA!
Now here’s something you need to know if you are going to PRACTICE this skill of “knowing” who is calling you. There will be times when you simply do NOT know who is calling. During THOSE times, you can be pretty sure it’s a sales call – or a phone call from somebody you are completely NOT emotionally connected to. {You didn't know because you did not know the caller well enough to have a psychic connection.}
If the call is coming from someone you LOVE – you should begin to be able to know who is calling with accuracy after just practicing this “guess who is calling” game for a month or two.
The more you practice at this . . . the stronger your psychic abilities will get!

Talking To An Inanimate Head

Hello! I am thinking about changing blog sites. I have MANY friends at Journalspace.com but the server there is so VERY SLO-O-O-OW . .. I thought to try out "blogger" -- to see if this site is much more easy to manage/faster to load.

SO NOW FOR MY BLOG ENTRY:
Yesterday I met someone who seemed just a little too open-minded for me and I'm not talking about the dismembered head I was asked to meditate with.

This admission might seem VERY strange for faithful readers of my blog (http://suntiger.journalspace.com). There my readers are familiar with how often I rant about disliking religions that have way too strict of dogma (doctrines so rigid that the followers feel separate from the rest of the world, suspecting everyone not of their church is ‘evil.’).

Yet truthfully? Yesterday reminded me how easy it would be for ME to do EXACTLY what I dislike in others; and not remain open-minded or able to contemplate bigger spiritual possibilities.

Yesterday, a woman invited me to mediate with a hunk of artwork; a hand-carved skull.

Let me back up a sec: while I thoroughly enjoy art, because good art moves the soul, I also believe that inanimate objects CAN have enormous amounts of positive energy in them. Take Stonehenge, for example (where people travel long distance just to stand amidst the boulders for worship and to perform ritual). I also love traveling to big cities, like Seattle, to feel the energy there, where the history can penetrate our essence and make us feel closer to those who lived there before.

Yesterday, however, after I was encouraged to go “meditate with Max” (the ‘ancient’ crystal skull that is a ‘wonder of the world’) my heart filled with glee over the concept talking to this inanimate head.

It would “only cost $50” to sit with Max for half-an-hour. That's what the store clerk advised me AND, as an added bonus to the meditation, she said I would also be allowed to TOUCH 'Max the crystal!'

I've got to say that I whole-heartedly support any-religion that gives people some sort of idea about where they fit inside this great Universe. I also LOVE working with crystals (as I have done in my massage therapy practice) and while I didn’t feel a personal need to sit with Max – I continued to feel incredibly curious about why other folks were willing to plunk down half-a-Benjamin Franklin to do just that!

Accepting the idea that this could POSSIBLY be a wondrous thing, I wanted to know what such an experience would feel like. So I asked a very attractive (50-something) woman, who had just came from her session with Max: “How did it go? Did you feel like you got your money’s worth?”

I knew that if she said it was utterly and totally earth-moving, that I would plunk down my own $50. (Just to experience it.)

“Well, it was good for Me-e-e-e-e-e, but that’s only because I’m psychic!” the woman said very pompously, revealing to me that if she was so incredibly special with all of her paranormal gifts – nobody else (who is average) would be able to glean as much pleasure from the mediation that she herself received.

Hmmmmm . . . “YOU’re psychic?” I thought to myself, feeling VERY amused and thankful for the answer that convinced me I should just WALK AWAY-y-y-y-y-y slowly.

I decided THEN that the Max hoopla was not all it was cracked up to be. I’d save my $50 for buying something I really needed . . . like more books on astrology.

The truth is, many of us want to know where we came from and where we are going. Are we immortal? Science doesn't have ALL of the answers, and while most scientists work feverishly to provide evidence about our origins {as do the mystics} and to explain where we might be going -- there are some naysayers in the same scientific communities who want to convince the world we are all nothing more than a gnat -- here today and gone tomorrow -- end of story.

Since the dawn of time, mankind has yearned

My question to the masses: is why are we not ALL continually striving to uncover the mystery of life? I feel so amazed whenever I talk to people who really don’t care to question where they might be going after their earth-body dies.

Some admit they are content just to know what mechanical device they will purchase next; so in two years they can add it to their junk-pile of outdated electronics.

The immortality of the soul: THAT is why I’m so thankful to get psychic messages – to have customers confirm that the messages I relate to them are accurate – because all of this proves to me how connected we all are as human beings.

There is so much more wisdom out there for us to explore – so many greater truths for scientists to unearth -- so many mountains of spiritual learning for us yet to climb.

May we NEVER grow tired of learning.May we always grow from the lessons that come our way.May we see spirit in EVERY living person – and realize it’s better to honor the life force in PEOPLE even more than the energy we find in precious stones, such as diamonds or crystals, {may we always CELEBRATE LIFE!}.

Psychic Ability: Fact or Fiction?

Two weeks ago, I went to see a numerologist, who is also a psychic. He said I’d be doing enormous amounts of travel this year. He was throwing out names like Paris, the Caribbean, and some other location with palm trees. He also mentioned a super-duper-extra-large cruise ship (where I'd be traveling first class, despite my restrictive budget, no doubt).

Holy Camolie! I sure hope he's right. I want his reading to be accurate so badly. I mean, I can totally see myself resting in a hammock while sipping on pina-coladas and getting massaged for hours by very strong Islander-massage therapists; where behind us the hula dancers will be swatting flies with their hips!

I WANT to believe this numerologist/psychic -- so that means I am not being a very legitimate critic about whether or not his reading skills are very accurate. What's more, I'm a pscychic myself and I've got to tell you -- I am not "getting" that any of the trip information he shared with me was going to come true (dang it!).

For the first time in my life, I've got to admit, I seriously hope I am WRONG, wrong, wrong!

All-in-all, It was worth the money I paid him just to FANTASIZE about going to Paris in "November" (as he predicted).

Hypothetically, just as there are "fake" psychics out there, there could also be public naysayers who are unduly MOTIVATED to discredit psychic phenomena.

Some naysayers may want to discredit psychic ability merely because such ideas conflict with their rigid religious belief systems. Others might have paid for a psychic reading and when it became clear they had clandestinely and purposefully HARMED someone, they might suddenly fear having their dark secrets exposed. That sort of deviant person would certainly have incentive for attacking a psychic’s reputation!

Fortunately, such motivated naysayers are far and few between! Most people who consume psychic readings do so because they know the feedback they receive will utterly feed their soul and provide them with emotional comfort and peace.

I really like the on-line psychic sites that offer a customer feedback system (e.g., a comment section just like they have here for bloggers) where feedback gets posted about the psychic reading customers received, the psychic has no way to remove it. (So you KNOW the feedback is legit.)

I also like to see the 5-star rating system for psychics -- which makes it obvious which psychics are really top notch (and which ones are NOT)!
