Oh My Eyes. My VIRGIN Eyes! {Man Tree}

On FaceBook, my friends and I are posting things we are thankful for. Below I've posted photos of a "Man Tree" that I often see when I'm out walking my two dogs, the pug, Artemis, and my dachshund, Freya. I'm particularly thankful for this tree because seeing it always makes me laugh.

Double-click the image to enlarge it (to fully appreciate its uniqueness)

Here's the view from "SIDE ONE"
Today, we had the pleasure of having Doug accompany us. It was the very first time I had the pleasure of introducing Doug to the "Man Tree."

Here's the view from "SIDE TWO"

Enjoy the humor of it all.

Too funny. Didn't you show us a "woman" tree not too long ago. Where did I see that?

Hibiscus Moon ~ Long ago I did post a photo of a "woman tree" but it was not original to me and I cannot find the image . . . it was a hyperlink.

Breath-3 ~ Glad you can appreciate art from nature. LOL.

You haven't been down to Oregon, recently? "You can take Salem out of the Country but..."

I've no idea what the Senate passed, for Health Care Reform, but the problems of Modern Medicine began, when Louis Pasteur got some Government Funding, for idea that he himself outgrew. Subsequent to that, Medical Colleges allowed "Doctors" to make profits in Training, where they didn't have to actually practice, and these schools were mostly scam, if Carnegie Mellon Report #4 is accurate, and the longer practice of Apprenticeship had fallen out of favor. With CM#4, states began to regulate Medical Colleges, and required they only train upper middle class white men. In World War II, there'd been a wage freeze, togeather with a hiring boom, and Health Insurance was sold as a Perq, which is where we get the Health Insurance Market, that's now threatened by the Medical Requirements of the Aging Baby Boom. Retirement's really going to stress this country, and some very poor policies are sure to evolve. I'd blame the breakdown of the Extraracial Family, by which Apprenticeship was something that brought a tradesman into Community, rather than treating employees as Slaves. Patch Adams is trying to build a medicine of Community, but that model is going to be more than his Hippy Clinic of the '60s.

So, how has Comic Reality been treating my old body guard?

Oh, I may have met one of my Muses, in Second Life; she's a marvelous potential for Profit.

Arawn ~ your comment is interesting (and it's also very off-topic for the man tree posting). LOL.
